Patient Advocacy Support
If you find it difficult to understand health information, make decisions about your care, or speak up about something that’s happened, you may be entitled to support from an advocate.
An advocate is someone who can:
- Help you understand your options
- Speak on your behalf if you want them to
- Support you with complaints or health decisions
- Make sure your voice is heard and your rights are respected
Advocacy is free, independent, and confidential.
If you’re unsure if you qualify for advocacy support, ask at reception – we’ll do our best to help or guide you to someone who can.
