Support for survivors of rape and sexual assault, abuse or violence

With 2nd February marking the beginning of Sexual Abuse and Sexual Violence Awareness week, NHS England is raising awareness of sexual assault referral centres (SARCs).

Available across England, these specialist services offer practical, medical and emotional support to anyone who has been raped, sexually assaulted or abused at any time in their life.

Find out which SARCs are in your region on the NHS.uk website.

Individuals can call to book an appointment 24/7, and it’s their choice if they want to involve the police or report what happened.
