Practice Overview
New Collegiate Medical Centre is a GMS practice providing NHS general medical services to patients registered with the practice. We operate from a single site with no branch surgeries.

Our aim is to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care to our patients. We are committed to supporting health, continuity of care and access to appropriate treatment across all ages.

  • Maternity and midwifery services (where relevant through standard general practice provision)

  • Through our website using available online forms and tools

Appointments are offered as same-day or pre-booked, depending on clinical need. We also offer telephone consultations and home visits for housebound patients.

Facilities and Accessibility
The surgery has step-free access, wide corridors, and an accessible toilet for patients with mobility needs. Reasonable adjustments are made where required. Carers and access needs are recorded in EMIS.

Leadership and Governance
The practice is led by a team of GP Partners. Dr Mobeen Shahbaz is the Registered Manager. Clinical governance is supported by the Practice Manager and wider team. All complaints, concerns and compliments are directed to Dr Sahar Shahbaz.

Policies, protocols and safety processes are reviewed regularly to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to support a safe working environment for staff and patients.

Review and Publication
This Statement of Purpose is reviewed annually or following any significant changes to services, premises, or leadership.
